Located in the prime area of the Central Business District (CBD) of Singapore is a building known as The Globe. Prior to the development of The Globe, most banks set up their head offices at Cecil street. Many banks have now set up and shifted their new head offices to The Globe. Something that is unique to The Globe is its design, during the development process, it was designed to have a raised floor so as to hide all the IT wires and the trunking underside of the floorplates. It is also in close proximity to the different modes of public transportation such as the many bus stops and the Raffles Place Mass Rapid Transport (MRT) station.
