In zone Marina Centre of the CBD, and located at 3 Temasek Avenue is where you’ll find Centennial Tower – a 37-storey high-rise skyscraper that stands 158 m (518 ft) tall. Close to Promenade MRT Station (no more than 100 meters) the building is in great company with skyscraper neighbors like Suntec City and Millenia Tower. The project offers 66,270 Sq. meters of gross floor space.
While the current 37-storeys were brought into service in 1997, this imposing building’s structural design allows for a further 15 floors to be added to the structure if required, taking it to a height of 52-storeys. An engineering marvel at the time of its construction, the project designers and builders used innovative and ingenious techniques, including prefabricated reinforcement for the core walls, precast staircases, and beams and columns to build the first 20 stories within 3 months – a record in Singapore construction annals back then!
