The former Standard Chartered Bank Building is now a skyscraper called 6 Battery Road, a high-rise located at Raffles Place in Singapore’s CBD that offers 46,060 sqm of NLA. With unrestricted access to Raffles Place MRT, and facing the Singapore River, this tower sits beside the UOB Plaza and offers A Grade office space to a number of multi-national organizations.

Built in 1984, 6 Battery Road is the product of the imagination of architect firms P & T Architects & Engineers Ltd and RSP Architects Planners & Engineers Private Limited, in partnership with other renowned entities including Meinhardt (Singapore) Private Limited , Clover Properties Private Limited, Lighting Design Partnership, CapitaLand Commercial Limited, CapitaLand Limited, Hazama Gumi and Sidley Austin Brown & Wood LLP.

At completion was the biggest real estate asset globally for Standard Chartered Bank, and it had the distinction of accounting as the single largest investment by any British company.
