A high-rise skyscraper of note, and previously the crown jewel of Singapore International Airlines, the SIA Building at 77 Robinson Road is situated in the central business district of Singapore. Designed jointly by Obayashi Gumi Corporation, and SAA Partnership, this building offers an impressive NFA of approximately 27,400 m2 (295,000 sq ft). Other notable contributors to one of Singapore’s original skyscrapers came from Singapore Airlines, Rider Hunt Levett & Bailey, PCR Engineers Private Limited and Quantity Surveyors Ltd.
The sleek structural engineering of T. Y. Lin International is responsible for this magnificent structure that has its exterior built from glass. And keeping with the airline theme, the SIA Building’s roof has a tail fin design that gives it an unmistakable aircraft-like appearance.
