Right in Singapore’s Shenton Way-Tanjong Pagar financial district is where you’ll find Capital Tower (资金大厦). This majestic 52-storey skyscraper stands 254 m (833 ft) high, and proudly claims its place as the 4th tallest structure of its kind in Singapore. Unmatched in its glory, the structure casts an imposing signature on the city’s night skyline with its soft flashing lights and neon logos.
Now the standard bearer of CapitalLand, this imposing skyscraper was once planned as the headquarters of the POSBank when built in 2000. Amongst the premier tenets in its 52-stories is the Government of Singapore Investment Corporation. Other prestigious names include the China Club, which moved into its premises in May 2001. The building’s 5 double-deck lifts make for speedy shuttle between floors.
