Bordering the Central Business District there is a twin tower high rise complex known as the SGX Centre, with two skyscrapers reaching up into the clouds. These two towers are both 614 ft high and are located at Shenton Way. The towers dubbed SGX Centre One and SGX Centre Two are based on an elongated rectangular site. It is currently home to the Singapore Exchange Centre and also serves as a gateway to the new downtown at Marina South. The centre is also located near to a few amenities with one of them being the Historical Lau Pa Sat market. Other amenities include the centre being in close proximity to a few modes of public transportation like the many bus stops and Mass Rapid Transport (MRT) stations.
